Adam Szeidl wins European Research Council grant on "Networks"

Adam will use this grant to empirically examine the effect of social networks on economic outcomes. He will combine experiments and firm level data to investigate questions including how social connections help make microfinance work in developing countries; how knowledge diffusion between firm managers about export markets affects foreign trade; and what is the effect of political connections on firm productivity, among others.
